Privacy statement

Yogastudio Enya processes personal data because you book a class or get in touch. Here is exactly what happens.

Who processes your data

Yogastudio Enya, based in Amsterdam. Chamber of Commerce number: [to be added]. For questions about your data, email the address at the bottom of this page.

What data, and why

When you book a class I keep your name, email address and, if you fill it in, your phone number. I need those to hold your spot, send you a confirmation and a payment link, and reach you if a class does not go ahead. The legal basis is performance of the agreement between us.

When you buy a class card I keep track of how many classes are left on it and until when it is valid.

When you contact me I keep your message and your details for as long as it takes to answer your question.

If you come to prenatal yoga you may choose to say something about how far along you are or how it is going. I do not record that in any system. What is shared in class stays in class.

What I do not do

I do not sell your data and do not pass it on for commercial purposes. I do not send a newsletter unless you ask for one. This site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising networks.

Who else has access

  • Umami, this site's visitor statistics. Umami runs on its own server in Germany, sets no cookies and stores no personal data.
  • The email provider used to send confirmation emails.
  • Tikkie / ABN AMRO if you pay through the payment link. They are responsible for that processing themselves.
  • This site's fonts are served from its own server, so nothing goes to Google when the page loads.

For how long

I keep booking records for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it for the accounts. Contact messages without a booking are deleted after a year.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Send an email and I will handle it within four weeks. If you disagree with how I handle it, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Photographs

This site shows photographs taken during classes. Everyone recognisable in them has given permission, and for children that permission was given by a parent. If you want a photo taken down, say so and it comes down that day.
